I went down to Aunt Rose's this morning. James Musick brought me home.
Footnote: I wonder how she got to Aunt Rose's house - I don't know if she would walk that far or not. Maybe she did walk around the back road. Really not that far for her I guess. Considering the temperature, I don't know if I would set out on foot to go that distance. Rose Baker Slemp is Estelle's mother's half-sister. James Musick is married to Aunt Rose's daughter, Julia. James Musick was born Aug. 22, 1917 and passed away March 5, 2005. Julia Slemp Musick was born Oct. 23, 1918 and passed away Sept. 29, 2006. They were both 87 when they passed away. James and Julia spent most of their working lives in the Washington, D. C. area. They have one daughter, Sally who lives and works in the Atlanta area. Sally is the one who has given me all these dates and I thank you. I think it gives me a better understanding of the family history to know the ages of these people that Aunt Estelle talks about.
