Thurs. fair but cool. I baked some pies & took Jennings one. I made me a jacket. Went down to Va Shuler's and up by Lizzie's a minute. Mrs. Ollie Cawood died.
Footnote: Jennings is her brother who lives nearby. Virginia Shuler is her cousin who lives a couple miles away. Lizzie Sturgill is also a neighbor. Mrs. Ollie Cawood was a friend and I think she lived in Seminary about 6 miles away.
