Friday 1980 Fair cold. I worked on my quilt. Roy Shuler was in, also Radious, Walter, Lizzie, Maude Ellen , Ginger & Dale.
Footnote: Roy Shuler (my Daddy) is her brother-in-law, married to her sister, Edith. They live in Big Stone Gap but have a small farm near where she lives. Radious and Walter are neighbors as well as Lizzie and Maude Ellen Sturgill. I don't know who Ginger and Dale are. Maybe friends from church.

Oct. 22, 1986 Wendi age 13 had her eyes checked today and will have contact lenses. Janice had glasses last week.

Oct. 22, 1979 Molly Delph Reasor burned behind the old schoolhouse today. first thought is suicide, but may not be.
Oct. 22, 1883 Mrs. Molly Wards birthday. died June 25, 1981. Jeff Ward died May 4, 1971 (wow, Molly was nearly 100 years old).
Oct. 22, 1967 Nancy Givens died age 77
Oct. 22, 1964 Sabrina Kay daughter of Wayne & Wanda Wheeler Bailey.
Oct. 23, 1987 Luna Coomer died sudden of her heart conditions.
