Sat. Rainy Foggy.   Janice & Wendi & I went to Kingsport.  Randy started grading the tobacco.  Dewey Russell died today.

Footnote:  Janice is her daughter and Wendi is her granddaughter.  Kingsport, Tenn. is a nice town about 45 miles to the southeast.  Randy must have been the tobacco sharecropper she had that year.  That usually meant, as I remember, that she had the land and the tobacco allotment and she hired someone to plant and tend to the tobacco until it went to market and then he would get a share of the money the tobacco made when sold.    Dewey Russell was a neighbor.

My note:  Went to the gallbladder surgeon yesterday for my final checkup - I hope for the year.  I am over all this medical stuff and I need to get some order back in my life.  I am back home and have finally got things back in order - threw all the stuff away that was in the fridge.  A lot of the boxes and canned things had expired so out they went.    Getting ready for two shows in the next month so my sewing stuff is everywhere.  Got a lot of new things finished and ready to sell.   Hope all is well with all you guys.  Stay warm - had our first snow this week - gone now and going to be 60 this weekend..
