Tues.  Fair  68 degrees.  We had Wendi.  She & I went for milk.  Then we went to vote and on to town.  I bought a few Christmas things.  Took Wendi home.  I went to prayer meeting tonite.

Footnote:  Wendi is her granddaughter.  They get milk from a neighbor lady who has cows.  She has had cows in the past because I remember her going to the barn with the milk bucket to milk the cows.  I can just see her going thru that gate in the fence  by the house and walking thru the pasture to the barn.  My girls loved to drink that fresh milk.  I also remember her sitting in the middle of the kitchen with her legs around that churn making butter.    I bet that she never missed a day to vote - she loved her right to vote.  I understand that she and Uncle Millard cast opposing votes which basically cancelled out their vote, but that was their right to vote as they saw fit.     I don't know if she went to prayer meeting on a Tue. night but that is what she has written.

Nice fall day here in Northern Kentucky.    I am feeling so much better now - Leah is taking me home this afternoon but I am coming back on Thursday.  We are having our Christmas craft day at Leah's house on Saturday so I am coming to help them get things together for that.   Rachel will be testing some new cookie  receipes  then.   Hope will have a couple crafts to do and she will need a little help.  Leah has to make 5 craft items for the Kordenbrock family exchange at the Christmas gathering.  All the women draw 5 names at Thanksgiving and they have to handmake a craft of some sort - so they give 5 and they get 5.  It is fun to see what they all come up with.  Some are very good, some average and some are just plain awful.    I have a show Nov. 23  and another one Dec. 8 so I am busy getting dolls finished for those two big shows.    Hope all is well with you guys.
