July 1, 1980 Aunt Estelle wrote

Tuesday, Fair cool  60 degrees to 85 degrees. 1980    Wendi & I took Aunt Rosalee to grocery store, then we picked up Jennings & Elizabeth and we went to Kingsport.  Eat at Kings Table.  Shopped some.  Tonite I went to Missionary Society and Millard & I went to Uncle Ray Bakers later.

Footnote:  Wendi is her granddaughter.  Aunt Rosalee is the wife of Millard Baker and he is the half-brother to Estelle's mother, Lula Baker.   Jennings is her brother and Elizabeth is his wife.  Kingsport is a nice town about 45 miles away.   I think Kings Table was a buffet restaurant in Kingsport.  Missionary Society is an organization for women that is part of the Baptist Church.   Millard is her husband and Uncle Ray Baker is the brother of Millard Baker and half-brother to Lula Baker, her mother.     That sure was a busy day but I think that is the way she liked her days - busy and seeing and doing a lot of things.    I wish she would have recorded the cost of the dinner at the Kings Table.  Think it was about $3.00???
