Monday    Cloudy

I put out a big wash, then ironed it.   Nearly made me sick.

Footnote:   Oh dear, that won't happen to any of us, as we just don't iron that much stuff.

My note:   The continuing saga:

So the whole time I am driving around, I think my car is sounding not like it usually does.   I was planning to leave Monday morning but thought I should take the car to Rob's (a friend of Doug and Linda's) Firestone shop just to have it checked out.    So Rob comes and puts his hand on my shoulder and says the car has "NO OIL".  Dip stick is dry.  No wonder it is pecking.   And the serpentine belt is ready to break - this is a 2003 Toyota and has the factory belt on it.   Pushing my luck on that one too.    Anyway, he fixed everything - $140.00 later and I was on my way home.     So the price of gas $2.04 was nothing compared to the other stuff.     I got away about noon on Monday and got home safely about 6:30.

I have a 5 day show next week - starting Wednesday and the week after, I have a one day show, April 25, so I am busy trying to get some new things finished.
