September 7, 1981 Aunt Estelle wrote

Monday  1981  Foggy  half a day.

I washed, made tomato juice, baked a cake, picked the tomatoes and some watermelons.  I was up to Jennings, Mrs. Tritt's and Reba's.  Mr. & Mrs. Parson's come tonite.

Footnote:    Busy morning.  Jennings is her brother.   I remember the name Tritt but nothing about her other than she lived in the community.  Reba is her sister-in-law.  The Parsons are neighbors also.

My Note:  Sorry I am just now getting around to catching up on the blog.  I had a show Sunday and I had to leave the house about 6:15AM.  Set up started at 7AM.  The town of Loveland, Ohio is about 30 minutes drive from my house.  It was a very nice day to be in the park - about 80 artists and a nice crowd of people.  I sold a few things and have some orders for dolls.   I was tired when I got home about 7PM.  Show was over at 5PM.       Then yesterday, Monday, I had to get up early again and drive to Rising Sun, Indiana.  I taught a class to their quilt group and it started at 9:30.  Was there until after 3PM.  So man I was dragin' when I got home.   Then I had a 2 hour dental apt. this afternoon, Tue.  - he put the post in for the crown.  What an ordeal, not to mention the cost.  I did sell him two dolls for his waiting room.  I made them especially for his office.    So I am just coastin' the rest of the week.  Got a show coming up Sept. 20 and another one Sept. 27 and another one Oct. 5.   Got a lot of dolls to stuff in the next 3 weeks.  But I will be sitting on the sofa doing it.
