1981 Monday. Snow at morning cleared up. We went to buy some stuff to redo our kitchen. eat at Burger Queen. Went out to Janice Gails awhile. Late I walked up to Jennings.
Footnote: Janice is her daughter who lives in Big Stone Gap. Jennings is her brother who lives nearby.

1987 Thelma Ely had appendix surgery, also gangrene. She is at Kingsport. Very sick.

1971 Rev. Clinton Green died today at Lee General Hospital after 6 days of a stroke. 1985 Feb. 9 Mrs. Green died.
Brian Manning borned to Ronda Ely & wife. 1969 another boy in 1971
1985 Gladys Lile 90 died May 11. Worked with Millard at Water Co. at Appa.
1985 May 11. Jaunita Grace 63 died... Mr. Grace died next January
1991 Rosemary came. Beulah and I went to meet her. Will leave June 1.

1978 Maggie Smith (nearly dead anyway) had 3 cancer tumors remarried today.
1987 Clarence Johnston died after several years of leukemia.
May 13
Rosie Sturgill Palmer died May 13, 1990 May 18, 1989 Wilson Sturgill died.
Sylvia Kelly Birthday 1970 secret pal. 1980 Bill Kelly had thyroid surgery
