Sunday, 1981 Cloudy to Fair Janice & Wendi were home. The church went to rest home for services this eve.
Footnote: Janice is her daughter and Wendi is Janice's daughter. The church she went to is the Deep Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
My note: I am at Leah's house for the week staying with Max. Leah and Kenny have gone to Las Vegas for the week. Leah will be in a real estate conference all week and Kenny will be in the casino's working all week. Max has a list of things he wants us to do. Today we are going to Garden Ridge store because his class went there this week and he saw a book he wants to get. He said, "Nana, I'm going to show you the Garden Ridge store, you will really like it". We will then go to Half Price Books where he can always find a video or two. He likes to eat at Chic-Filet (I don't go there so I don't even know how to spell it), but I will take him there. Tomorrow we will go to Goodwill as it is half-price day and he likes to get stuffed animals there. We are supposed to have a big storm, snow & ice, late Sunday night so I am expecting to have to stay in for a couple of days. Leslie will leave Sunday morning, flying to Ft. Lauderdale, and then she will get on a ship Monday for 5 days. One of her friends is getting married so there are 45 of their friends going on th bire honeymoon with them. The couple will get married in Key West at the Hemingway Mansion. Doesn't that sound like fun. Leslie will turn 25 on March 6 so there will be some celebrating.
I left my birthday list for March at home so I will have to do that when I get back home. I do know that Doug Shuler will be 71 on March 4. He is doing very well - looks good but wears oxygen all the time. I hope the storm doesn't hit you all too hard.
