1980 Wednesday, Fair. I washed two loads of clothes, dried outside. Got the Delph boy to help dig a ditch at the barn.
Footnote: Delph boy must have been a neighbor.
1981 Thursday, snow, sunshine. Typical March plus very cold. We got our check and went to the bank and out to Janice Gails and back by Edith's awhile.
Footnote: Janice is her daughter and Edith is her sister. They both live in Big Stone Gap, a town about 9 miles away. The bank must have been there too.
