1980 Monday Rain all day long. We are bored to death. Stell Kelly come in a while. Ruth stopped when she come from work.
Footnote: Stell Kelly is her good friend and neighbor. Ruth is Ruth Reasor, Everette's wife. Everette is Estelle's youngest brother. They live across the road from Estelle. Hate that she was bored. Needed to get out those quilt pieces and start in to sewing. That'll keep you from being bored. She read a lot of books too, maybe she needed a new book. Probably what she really wanted to do was get in the car and go somewhere. Pretty sure that Uncle Millard was not bored. He was pretty happy at home.
1981 Tuesday. Fair Cold. I washed and sewed. Reba was in a minute. Allso Roy Shuler. I went for milk, came back by Jennings.
Footnote: Reba was her sister-in-law who lived nearby. Roy Shuler lived in Big Stone but had a farm in Deep Springs and he went there every day after work. He was married to Edith Reasor, Estelle's younger sister. Jennings is her brother who lives nearby.
