1980, Monday. Fair, sunshiny 65 degrees. Washed and dried outside. We had company this eve. Reba was in a while. Jennings, Elizabeth, Radious and Walter, Grand and Noreen Morefield were here at the same time.

Footnote: And she had a house full if they were all there at the same time. Reba is her sister-in-law. Jennings is her brother and Elizabeth is his wife. Radious is a cousin and Walter is her husband. The Morefields are neighbors (I thought his name was Grant, but she has it as Grand in the book).
1981, Tuesday. Fair cold. I worked on my quilt top. Picked Stell Kelly & Sylvia up tonite and went to Linda Moore's bridal tea at Pennington bank. Jennings was in.
Footnote: Stell Kelly is her good friend from church and the neighborhood. They probably grew up together as that family was in the neighborhood as long as I can remember. Sylvia is Stell's daughter-in-law. Stell had two sons, Harold and Bill. Sylvia was married to Harold. Don't know who Linda Moore was. Pennington is a small town with a bank - about 8 miles west of Deep Springs. Jennings is her brother.

Jan 3, 1988 Mr. Bentley 84 died. Cherlene Reasor's dad.
Jan. 3, 1968 Uncle Doc Baker (80) died in Flint, Mich. last nite. 1964 Oct. 3 Aunt Stella died.
April 8, 1965 I fixed dinner for Uncle Doc, Hop, Uncle Millard & Henry, Aunt Rose & Jeanette.
June 17, 1967 Saw Uncle Doc at Aunt Jeanettes for the last time.
