Thurs. 1981 Hot 90 degrees
I washed clothes before Wendi got here. Then we went to Jonesville to get car sticker. I picked up the apples and Stell Kelly come for some and I canned the rest. Jennings was in.
Footnote: Wendi is her granddaughter and she must be on summer break from school. Jonesville is the county seat of Lee County. It is about 15 miles West of her home. I have lots of memories of Jonesville and the swimming pool there. We used to have family reunions/picnics there in the park. They had a big swimming pool and we loved to go there to eat and swim. I remember they had Reasor reunions there, too. There was a cattle market there and Daddy Shuler (my granddaddy) and my Daddy would go there to buy and sell cows and pigs. Stell Kelly is her good friend and neighbor. Jennings is her brother who lives nearby.
