Tues 1981 Fair hot to cloudy & showers.
I worked in the strawberry patch awhile. We mowed the lawn late. Hattie Francis come by, she had been to see Reba at the hospital. She was feeling good, or better.
Footnote: Hattie Francis is her niece by marriage. She was raised by Reba but is the daughter of Millard's (her husband) brother - Paris Ely I think. Millard had a few brothers and I don't remember which one is which. Reba is Millard's sister.
My note: I am in Kingsport with Mother. Today is her birthday - July 16 when I am writing this. She is loving all the cards she is getting in the main. She has cooked a BIG pot of green beans and is going to make the corn and banana pudding. We are anxious for you all to get here. Safe travels.
