Monday 1981  Fair & hot.

I sprayed the garden this morn and picked the razzberries.   Late we went out to Lizzie's and down to Va. Shuler's.   We have Wendi. 


Footnote:  Lizzie Sturgill is her neighbor.  The Sturgill's live  on the back road that is just across the highway from her house.  Virginia Shuler, her cousin, lives on the other end of the same back road.  She and Virginia were good friends for many years - they both loved to read and they shared their books.  They would put their initials in the front of the book when they finished reading it.    Wendi is her granddaughter who is out of school for the summer.

1972   Carl Wygal  79 yrs. old was killed in car wreck this evening. 
1963  Mrs. Floyd Haun  secret pal.
1975   Ruth Louise Reasor had extensive surgery at Kingsport.  Another in Nov. 
1975  we experienced a small tornado today.
1979 Mr. Fred Scalf died of having a heart attack 4 days ago.  Mrs. Scalf died July 20, 1979 of cancer
1989  Estelle Kelly went into the hospital at Kingsport with her glands in her leg blocked.  Had Laser on them Thurscay.  Home on the 10th.

1970  Millard Davis died at Marion.
1987  Emmitt Blair died   July 16, 1989  Sudie died.

1964 Sunday  Roscoe Cox died after a lung cancer operation.  Buried on Wed.
