June 7, 1980 Aunt Estelle wrote

Sat. Fair Hot.  After a storm tonite.  We talked to Rosemary early.  We went up to Jennings a while and I went on out to Lizzie's.  We rested this eve.  I went back up late where Jennings was picking up hay.

Footnote:  Rosemary is her daughter who lives in New Mexico.  Jennings is her brother who lives nearby.  Lizzie lives on the same back road as Jennings, just a little further around the road.

My footnote:  I am doing good today.  Still can't find the right food.  Seems I just eat a couple bites of food and am done then I am so hungry an hour later.  I am so afraid my gall bladder is going to act up.  Went to the heart surgeon yesterday for a check up.  They took the stitches out of my neck and belly.  No stitches on my chest.  I guess they glued that back together.  Anyway, the Dr. would like me to hold off till Aug. to have the gallbladder surgery.  I just am praying that it will wait that long.  So I see the cardiologist on Monday and then I should be released by the end of the week.  Will be able to drive but not climb steps yet.  So I will be at Leah's a little longer.   Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers.
