June 11, 1980 Aunt Estelle wrote

Wed. 1980  Cool Fair.  I sewed some.  Was up to Jennings a couple of times.  To prayer meeting tonite.

Footnote:   Jennings is her brother who lives nearby.  She was making dresses or probably a quilt top.  She sure never just sat around for long.  And she never missed a chance to go to church.

My footnote:  I am doing good.  Saw the cardiologist yesterday and he took me off the lasic (water pill).  I was light headed and felt sick at my stomach after I took it in the morning.  My feet are not swollen and I am continuing to lose weight so he thought it would be OK to stop taking it.  Today I feel good.  Leslie has a job interview today so they are going shopping for an "interview outfit".  I will go with them and they will drop me off at a bookstore.    It is just good to get out when I can.
Redge is home from the hospital and on the mend from pneumonia.  He called me last night and sounded good.  I tell you they have some miracle drugs out there now.  We are lucky to live in a time when they can save lives.
