Cloudy. Janice & Wendi was home. We all went to Mrs. Scalf's funeral. Later we went up to Jennings awhile. Edith brought watermelon. Freddie Gay preached for us, as they are here for vacation.
Footnote by Pat: Janice is her daughter and Wendi is her granddaughter. Mrs. Scalf is Redge's (her son) mother-in-law. Jennings is her older brother and Edith is her younger sister. Janice, Wendi and Edith all live in Big Stone Gap, Va. (about 9 miles away). Redge lives in Charlotte, NC and Jennings is a neighbor. Freddie Gay is Jennings's son-in-law, married to Betty Jean, his daughter. They live in Arkansas and were in Virginia on vacation. Fred is a preacher.
