Oct. 1, 1966. Aunt Estelle wrote

Sat.  Rain all day

I canned pears & apples.  Sandra came a minute.  Janice called to say she has the flu.  Tonite Millard and I went up to the sale.

 My note:
So I realized that I had already written all of 1965.   I remember what she had said about being in the hospital and I went back and checked on it.  So now we are into 1966.   Sorry to be confused but I'm old.
I have finished a bag full of dolls this week, dyed silk scarves and made a ton of cards all in preparation for the show I'm in tomorrow, Sunday, Oct . 2.   So the car is packed - just enough room left for me, and I'll be out of here about 5:30 am  to drive 15 minutes to show spot, set up tent and hang all my work before 10am.   Show is over at 5 and I have to pack all that is left and head home.  Very long day and I'll be tired.  It is a good show for me, so hopefully I'll have some cash.

My last grandchild, Hope,  is 12 years old today and I am bummed about that.  She is such a nice gal and I've enjoyed every minute I get to spend with her.   These grandchildren are the reason I am still doing so many shows. They are expensive.    Max has a job now and is making his own money but he still likes it when I take him to Dave and Busters or give him an Amazon gift card.   I still love to buy for Leslie and of course now I get to buy for baby Lane.      So off to work I go again.  3 shows left to do this year.  Going to Alabama in two weeks - my favorite show.  .
