Thurs.  Fair  hot.

We all went to Patricia Ann & Ron's today at Whitesburg today.  Edith with us too.  It was a hard trip.

Footnote:     Patricia Ann is her niece, Edith's daughter - that's me.   Ron was my husband of two years then and we lived in a mobile home that was parked behind the radio station in Whitesburg Kentucky.  What a way to start!!!.   It was about an hour's drive over the mountain so I hope that is what she thought was hard.    It was a hard place to be living - dirty and dreary - .   We moved that year in the fall to Richmond,  Ky.  when Ron decided he wanted to go to college at Eastern Kentucky, while I supported us working as a social worker for the state.   We had the trailer moved onto the campus and he went to school every day and worked at the radio station on the weekend .  I worked every day and took classes on Saturday.  We did that for a year and he was called to a job in Louisville, Ky.   So we packed that trailer again and moved to a trailer park in Louisville.   I transferred with the state to a social work position in Louisville.  Eventually we bought a house in Louisville.    I loved living in Louisville.   So that is the story of the Mobile home.
