Sat. 1981 Fair. not so hot as usual
I washed & swept the floors. I went, alone, to Norton, up the valley and down by Appa.
Footnote: Norton is a town about 15 miles from her home. They have a lot of department stores and businesses. Appa is short for Appalachia, Virginia. It is a coal mining town and is about 10 miles from her home. It is between Big Stone Gap and Norton. Guess no one wanted to make that journey with her.
