Sunday  1981  frosted last nite.
Got up to near 80 degrees today.  Fair.  Janice & Wendi were home.  We went to Magic Mart.

Footnote:   Janice is her daughter and Wendi is her granddaughter.   Magic Mart was a variety/grocery store I think.  She went there often.

My note:   I left my house early this morning and took the ferry across the river and up the hill to Leah's house.  Leslie was there - she has moved into a condo and is not living with Leah now.   We all, including Max, got in Leah's car and went to a neighborhood yard sale.  There must have been over 100 houses in this huge neighborhood  that had stuff/junk in their yard for sale cheap.  Leslie was looking for furniture for her condo.  Max was looking for stuffed animals - he must have a thousand already - but like me, if it is what you collect you just can't have too many.   Leslie found a few things and Max found a lot of things.  I picked out some blouses that were  FREE just so I could cut off the buttons.    One more thing.  I baked a homemade loaf of bread last night and this morning I cut it in half and took it to Leah.  I put it in a plastic bag and left it laying on her kitchen counter.  When we got back to Leah's after yard saleing,  I was going to give some of it to Leslie and I couldn't find it.  We found the plastic bag on the living room floor, and the bread was gone - in the belly of her dog, Jack.  He is almost a year old white golden doodle.  He can get his front paws up on the counter and he had a snack.  He just can't be trusted and by now we should all know better.
