I am back home after a weekend show in Indianapolis.   Friday, I drove over there - about 2 hours to get to the Art Center.  It rained most of the drive.  I found my booth site and started setting up - and it is raining lightly.  I got wet before I got the top on the tent - after that, I was OK as I could work under the tent.  I got it set up and then spent a long time driving around in the rain and heavy traffic trying to find a hotel.  I just could not get in the neighborhood where all the hotels were.  Finally I called one I found on the GPS and got the street address and found it.  There are a lot of overpasses in the area and the GPS doesn't know you can't turn left because it is an overpass.   Sat. it was cold all day but the crowd was good and they had money - which I took as much of as I could.  Sold a lot of dolls and all my scarves.  Sunday was better weather wise.  It was sunny and a little warmer.  Today, I am a little tired and will just kinda rest.  Have some orders to get finished and then I can start on new things for the next show - in two weeks.

Footnote:   Janice is her daughter and Wendi is her granddaughter.   Magic Mart was a variety/grocery store I think.  She went there often.

My note:   I left my house early this morning and took the ferry across the river and up the hill to Leah's house.  Leslie was there - she has moved into a condo and is not living with Leah now.   We all, including Max, got in Leah's car and went to a neighborhood yard sale.  There must have been over 100 houses in this huge neighborhood  that had stuff/junk in their yard for sale cheap.  Leslie was looking for furniture for her condo.  Max was looking for stuffed animals - he must have a thousand already - but like me, if it is what you collect you just can't have too many.   Leslie found a few things and Max found a lot of things.  I picked out some blouses that were  FREE just so I could cut off the buttons.    One more thing.  I baked a homemade loaf of bread last night and this morning I cut it in half and took it to Leah.  I put it in a plastic bag and left it laying on her kitchen counter.  When we got back to Leah's after yard saleing,  I was going to give some of it to Leslie and I couldn't find it.  We found the plastic bag on the living room floor, and the bread was gone - in the belly of her dog, Jack.  He is almost a year old white golden doodle.  He can get his front paws up on the counter and he had a snack.  He just can't be trusted and by now we should all know better.
