Jan. 1 1981 (Thurs) Cloudy not so cold. Reba come for most of the afternoon. I took some things up on the hill to her renters this morning. I went to the Magic Mart late and over to Betty's for milk.
Footnote: Reba is her sister-in-law who lives nearby. Magic Mart is a general store about 7 miles away. Betty is her neighbor who has milk cows.
My Note: Well, here we go with another year. I am hoping for better health this year and I hope the same for each of you who keep up with me and Aunt Estelle's writings. This is something like the 677th day I have recorder from her journal and hopefully I can continue till I have all three years finished.

Elbert died Nov. 2, 1975 The kids had a yard sale on Thanksgiving day of their possessions and it was very successful. ( Oh I hate to think it - but that is what will happen to all my possessions - yard sale and Goodwill).
Oct. 13, 1980 Ruth had a carbuncle
Feb. 16, 1977 Ruth Reasor had a hysterectomy
May 22, 1978 Everette died.
Dec. 7, 1979 Smith had surgery for a abscess.
July 15, 1980 Carey, Rosemary & Shanna come.
July 19, 1981 Rosemary & Shanna come, also Redge & Leisha.
1980 March 26 Estelle entered Indian Path Hospital at Kingsport had a tumor off ear drum March 27 come home March 30.
June 22, 1977 We started going to Pennington to Dr. Taylor. We like him.
