Clear. We had Wendi. Not quite as hot as yesterday. Jennings & Elizabeth were in both early & late. Edith & Roy, Ruth, Sandra & Smith were here. Allso Reba. I cooked all morning and was nearly sick. The girls & I went for milk late.
Footnote by Pat: Wendi is her granddaughter. Jennings is her brother and Elizabeth is his wife. Edith is her sister and Roy is Edith's husband. They live in Big Stone Gap. Ruth is her sister-in-law who lives nearby and Sandra and Smith are Ruth's children, Estelle's neice and nephew. Reba is her sister-in-law on her husband's side.
Remember, Redge and Rosemary have come with their children for a vacation so she is very busy cooking everything from the garden for them. Also, word is out that they are home so everyone wants to see them and they all come visiting. Ruth is married to Everette, Estelle's youngest brother. She lived in the "old homeplace" for years, raised her children there, and eventually she had a nice trailer put on the property and lived there for many more years. Aunt Ruth is now living in Big Stone Gap in a rest home. Mother and I visit with her when we can. She always seems so happy that we stopped for a visit.
